 Even before the state of Israel was established, there was Israeli dance here. Folk dancing provided the pioneers with respite and became one of the symbols of the settlement of Israel. Since then, Israeli dance has incorporated countless styles, and has changed, expanded, deepened. Today, Israeli dance is just one dish in the rich menu of Israeli culture. All these fascinating changes that took place in Israeli dance, all the great moments and unforgettable songs that motivated Israeli dance to develop and expand, all the great creators that are etched in our hearts and minds, all the local characteristics that were integrated into the styles that were born here in Israel, we turned into one colorful and magical story - the story of Israeli dance. The extravagant opening show of this year's festival brings to the stage a huge and glittering list of stars including Noa Kirel (with a very special surprise for the audience!), Shelua Band, Narkis, Banya Barbie, Ohad Shargai, Sagiv Cohen, Danny Robas, Valerie Hamati.
