Rafi Alkobi was born in Safru, Morocco and immigrated to Israel at the age of 4. For about five decades of his life, he tried to avoid everything that reminded him of his homeland, until one day reading a book aroused in him an inexplicable longing for a place long forgotten in his heart. Rafi went with family members and some friends on a personal journey to Morocco, visited his hometown, went to his grandfather's grave, heard family stories that had been long forgotten and fell completely in love with his birthplace home.

Among other things, Rafi is currently a tour guide in Morocco. In this session, Rafi will lead participants on the path of personal memory to the sentimental discovery of this colorful and unique country.
