Join us on a colorful and whirlwind journey from the Moroccan Jewish neighborhood Melach and the magnificent Jewish heritage of the Maghreb, through the path to Andalusia (Spain) and French imperialism, to life in Israel in 2022. AshdoDance's closing ceremony pays tribute to the rich and wonderful culture of Maghreb Jewry in a spectacular show that includes 25 professional Israeli dance troupes, about 2,000 dancers.  These timeless classics will be performed by the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra Ashdod, and singing talents of Ishtar, Lynette, Yossi Azulai, Sami Lazmi, Haim Oliel, Galit Giat, David Daur, Gusto. Sapir Saban, and the Azimuth Band. Jackie Levy will lead the evening.
