We all understand that culture in general and dance in particular have recently been pushed down on our list of priorities.
This state of mind makes it very difficult to rejoice, but our inner belief does not allow us to give up and stop moving.
To paraphrase Galileo - And yet it moves, so we shall move.

‫כתת אמן‬As we worked on this year's festival we were compelled to touch the bleeding wounds that opened within all of us on
‫עם אילנה כהן‬bleeding wounds that opened within all of us on October 7th, then to shed new light on it and present it in the medium

that is our second language - dance. Professional I am convinced that each and every person will be able to find their
place in the program we have put together for 2024, and alongside its beauty, also some consolation and hope. We all
need this now, more than ever before.

On this occasion, I extend my great thanks to the Mayor of Ashdod, Dr. Yechiel Lasri, for his continued support of the
festival and for developing the city's cultural activity, which make our artistic work possible to take place.
