The successful dance festival in Israel, "AshdoDance," continues the tradition for the eighth year, filling our city's

stages with thousands of amateur and professional dancers from Israel and abroad, along with Israel's biggest

stars, for four colorful and festive days. The AshdoDance Festival firmly places Ashdod on the cultural map of

Israel and provides a spectacular expression of the multiculturalism and social wealth of the city.

incredible unity, strength,

tolerance, mutual responsibility, and community resilience.

This year's festival program, with its colorfulness, is meant to bring goodness to our hearts, and to remind us
that in the shadow of pain and worry, we must continue to dance and rejoice, to unite and celebrate our
existence together in a sign of renewal and rebirth.

This year we will host many artists, including: Boaz Sharabi, Keren Peles, Rami Kleinstein, Lior Narkis, Ran Danker,
Narkis, Bar Tzabri, Dudu Fischer, Shlomit Aharon, Subliminal and Tzel together with the Tackett family for a
first-of-its-kind show - a show in memory of the late Pini Spiegler- as well as professional dance performances,
unique tavern evenings and a spectacular closing show to the sounds of the 80s.

I thank all the partners in the success of the festival, the chairman of the steering committee, Deputy Mayor,
Attorney Gabriel Knafo, the CEO of the Municipal Society for Leisure Culture Oren Tuil, the director of the
events department Iris Naftali and of course Avi Levy, the man and living spirit behind this impressive production.
Thank you, dear audience, who vote with their feet every year and turn Ashdod into a huge, vibrant and immersive
dance floor.
